Let’s talk about the wedding sendoff for a moment, can we?  Exit photos are some of my favorite moments to capture on a wedding day and they can be so fun and unique!

Traditionally the “exit” photo takes place at the end of the night, but lately there’s been a trend to throw petals, lavender or blow bubbles after the bride and groom are announced husband and wife and as they begin their recessional back down the aisle.  This is a great option if you love natural light and want this photo captured during daylight, if your photographer won’t be present through the end of your wedding, or if you are worried about guests having to leave early and not enough people being around at the end of the night for your exit.

Day or night, these photos always turn out fun!

Need Ideas?

You’ll need to check with your venue to see if they have restrictions on what’s allowed or prohibited, but some of my favorites things for exits are:
Bubbles (I recommend having a bubble machine to help out as well)
Confetti Poppers
Flower Petals
Hand Rolled Streamers
Ribbon Wands
Sparklers
Weighted LED Balloons
