I’m not even sure where to begin this post. This past week has been a whirlwind and in a good way. Last night I returned from Vegas after attending WPPI, a mega-conference for photographers. Every year thousands of photographers flock to the MGM to attend this conference to learn more about their craft, see what’s new in the industry, attend classes geared towards areas that we want to improve in our business, and (my favorite part) meeting other photographers working towards some of the same goals as I am. It was a crazy, jam-packed week but I arrived home last night not only inspired but excited to implement some new things into my business. Things that are going to benefit you (my clients) and enhance your overall experience with Kasey Lynn Photography.
The view from our hotel room. I love the mountains in the background.

We’re photographers. Of course we had to go out and do a little exploring and shooting.
Vegas. Yes the top middle picture is of a man in a fountain collecting coins in a cup. Once a crowd started to develop and he saw me taking pictures he jumped out and ran off fully clothed and dripping wet.
One of my favorites from the trip. Love the lighting and I just can’t get over the mountains. Oh Texas…why are you so flat?
My friends Katie, Tania and I went on a shoot in the Valley of Fire. We grabbed this shot of the three of us right before we left.
Hands down one of my favorites…self timer here for a full group shot (the bus just happened to drive by as the shutter went off). Love it!
Being able to spend a week with other photographers who go through the same struggles as I’m going through, bouncing ideas off each other and just talking about the industry was such a blessing. I’m lucky to say that I made some amazing friends during my time at WPPI. Not only that, but all the walking and too-busy-to-eat diet made me lose some weight. Win-Win! 🙂
Kasey – These shots are amazing and I am soooo pleased to see that you are continuing to pursue your talent and your dream. I LOVE to see your pictures and please know that you are doing amazing work! I feel your pain…re:flat Texas…as a girl of the mountains (Calgary, AB, CDN)…it is one of the HARDEST things I have found about living in Texas!
Love these Kasey!! 🙂
