I can’t express enough how much Hannah and Ethan deserved this day, and how happy I am for them that they finally got to celebrate their marriage with family and friends!
These two faced a tough decision last year about whether or not to postpone their wedding due to Covid or move forward with their wedding plans. They made the decision to postpone the big festivities, but didn’t want to wait another year to be married. Hannah and Ethan had an intimate ceremony last year that I was honored to photograph, and then a year later they renewed their vows in front of their family and friends and had the celebration they waited for.
And what a fabulous day it was! I was honored to be back out at Big Sky Barn to capture these moments for them! Everyone was so relaxed throughout the entire day and I think that helped make the day even more enjoyable!
Hannah + Ethan, I can’t say it enough, but I’m truly honored and grateful that you put your trust in me. Your families were such a joy to be around this day, and it has been my pleasure working with you both over the past two years. I hope you love this preview from your day!
I love that Hannah chose to do a first look with their bridesmaids. It let her have some calm, quiet moments in the bridal suite getting ready with her mom that I thought was really special.
How sweet is this first look with Hannah and her Dad!
It was a rainy morning and early afternoon, so we decided to do their first look in the chapel where they were married almost a year prior!
I don’t show family pictures much on the blog due to privacy, but we get asked all the time if we take formal family photos. The answer is YES! Every wedding we take family formals. I worked together with Hannah beforehand to make sure we knew what pictures her and Ethan wanted ahead of time, so we could make this process go by as quickly and efficiently as possible. (I think formal family photos are always some of the most important of the day!)
I mentioned earlier that it was a rainy morning and it was, but the clouds parted and the rain stopped just as the ceremony was about to start!
After the ceremony we went outside for some couple portraits – one of my favorite parts of the day to photograph!

And a sparkler exit to end the night! Congratulations, Hannah + Ethan!
