I have a list of things I want to do before it’s my time to leave this world. This list is popularly known as a bucket list thanks to this movie. What’s on my list? Well, I like to keep a lot of the details to myself, but a large portion is dedicated to places I’d like to travel and visit. Other things include experiences I hope to have, things I want to do, etc. This weekend I was able to check one of those items off my bucket list.
Sunday morning, I woke up at the early hour of 6AM (which is early when you photographed a late wedding the night before, trust me), picked up my friend and drove a good hour and a half away. All of this so I could go JUMP OUT OF A PLANE!!
Yes, folks. I decided for my 24th birthday I would celebrate by crossing “go skydiving” off my list (much to my mother’s disapproval).
I wish I could get the video to upload, but I’m having the worst time getting it to work correctly. I can get the video to upload to YouTube but there’s no sound, and what good is a video with no sound? We’re way past the silent movie days. Maybe one of my videographer friends can chime in with some insight?
So no video, but I definitely have some photos to share!
All photos were taken by Skydive Houston.
Parachute release.
Of course I had to give my instructor a hug for getting me back on ground safely.
In case you were wondering and couldn’t tell from the photos, I had a blast!! If you’re thinking about making the jump or you’re on the fence about if this is something you want to do….DO IT! You’ll love it.
I was able to upload my skydiving video to facebook. If you’re not friends with me, you can find me here. Send me a request, I don’t bite! Also, if you’re not a fan of Kasey Lynn Photography’s facebook page find that here!
Tomorrow’s my birthday. Did you know that 24 STILL isn’t old enough to rent a car without paying almost double the price? Insane! I guess that means I’ll have my youngin youth for at least one more year. HUGE thanks to all my friends who came out and helped me celebrate my birthday a little early and those who supported me in my skydiving adventure. You mean the world to me!
OMG! You are my new hero, and I’m soo excited for you. Gots me thinking that I just might have to try this as the 5th anniversary of my 21st is right around the corner! Super pumped for ya, and miss you!
Bravo Kasey…well done!
