When Obinna first contacted me, I was a little surprised, because normally it’s the bride contacting me first about wedding photography. I have to say, I liked it! Getting to meet Obinna before Dorothy gave me a chance to see how genuine and kind this man is, and how much he loves Dorothy. I don’t even know where to begin with this couple, other than to say that it is apparent to anyone in Dorothy and Obinna’s presence how much they love each other and how perfect they are for one another. Simply put, they complete each other.
Dorothy and Obinna, from the bottom of my heart, thank you for choosing me to be there on your wedding day and capture one of the most special days of your lives through my camera. It was truly an honor, and I hope you love these images for many years to come. 🙂
A huge thanks to Sarah for helping me out throughout the day!
The ceremony and reception took place at The Parador in Houston.
Dorothy had two shoes for the day. Her “something blue” for the ceremony and her fabulous Jimmy Choos for the recepetion.
Darryl and Co. did an amazing job with the florals for the day.
Dorothy putting the final touches on her mom’s makeup.
Dorothy’s Vera Wang dress looked absolutely stunning on her!
The guys getting ready.
Look at Obinna, cool, calm and collected.
A prayer
I’m dying over how sharp Obinna looks in this tux from Q Custom Tailor
One of my favorites from the day
The guys all looking mighty fine
Neither one of them could take their eyes off the other
Husband and Wife
This was one awesome bridal party. They knew how to have fun…
…and how to work it for the camera
Huge thanks to Edible Designs by Jessie for this amazing cake!
Their first dance
Since we didn’t have a ton of time for portraits before it got dark outside, we snuck out after dinner for a few night shots.
And then Dorothy and Obinna went inside to dance the night away and celebrate!
