My entire twenty-five years of living I have only been to the circus once.  That one time?  Happened two weeks ago.  I might be a little old for the circus but I’m a kid at heart, and hey, everyone should see the circus at least once, right??  Since I didn’t get to blog about the circus before today, here’s a little glimpse at what we saw.

I recently made the switch to a new editing software.  To be completely honest, I have tried to make this switch before but the daunting task of learning a new software and getting a new workflow down was so unappealing to me that I never made it a priority to do.  Well folks, I finally made it a priority over the last two weeks and this new program?  It’s going to rock my world!  And yours to, even though you don’t know it.  It allows me to edit so much quicker than the last software I was using which means quicker turn around for you, less of me sitting behind a computer and more of me behind the camera.  Let’s face it, that’s where I want to be!  🙂

Have you been watching the Olympics?  Whether it’s the Summer Olympics or the Winter Olympics I may not watch ALL of the sports, but there are always a few of them I absolutely love to watch.  This year I’ve taken a particular interest in swimming, diving and above all else gymnastics.  I don’t know these people personally, but I was cringing and in suspense the entire time hoping they wouldn’t fall during their routine on the balance beam.  And no matter who wins which sport, I find myself tearing up a little bit with happiness for them, because I know their dream just came true.  Watching Gabby Douglas fight her way to the gold medal secretly had me wishing my parents had enrolled me in gymnastics class as a little girl.  🙂
