I was SO excited for Emma and Diego’s engagement session—not just because they’re an incredibly sweet couple, but because their shoot took us to a brand-new photo location in Spring, TX! As a wedding and family photographer in Houston, I’m always scouting fresh spots and this one instantly became a favorite. Emma wanted something a little different from the popular trees, fields, grass, etc. and I was so excited to explore a different vibe for their engagement session.

Emma is the sister of one of our past grooms! One of my favorite things about wedding photography is when I get to photograph multiple siblings within the same family. There’s something so special about already knowing everyone and being invited back into their lives for another milestone—it really feels like coming home in the best way.

Emma and Diego are incredibly easy together—calm, sweet, and totally in their own world. We laughed SO much during their session, and I loved watching how effortlessly they connect. These two balance each other so well and I cannot wait for their wedding next year at The Blue Magnolia!
