I’ve had the honor of photographing Amy and David several times now.  It started when I photographed their wedding several years ago and since then I’ve had the privilege of photographing maternity photos, extended family photos, and regular family photos for them.  A few weeks ago they asked me to capture some updated images for them in a family/maternity session.  I was so excited to do this for them, and it’s been so fun watching their family change and grow through the years!

Because of Amy’s due date, we had to schedule this session smack dab in the middle of one of Houston’s warmest summers, but we headed towards the coast to help give us a little bit of repreive.  If you have to do a summer session due to schedules, timing, etc. consider the beach!  The breeze in Galveston is always a nice exchange for less heat!
