I knew I loved Aimee from her very first email. She told me all about her and Rob, their wedding and included this:
“For us, marriages are more important than weddings (and that includes the photos of said weddings). We appreciate good photography and all the work that goes into it, of course, but it’s not our number one priority during this process. Our marriage is Hopefully that doesn’t offend you!”
Aimee, I wasn’t offended one bit! And while I do think photography is incredibly important, the marriage is what’s most important, and I will be the first to admit that. 🙂
Just watching Rob while he’s around Aimee made me like him as well. Being able to witness them while they are around each other, seeing how much they care for one another and seeing how dedicated they are to their marriage to one another was a wonderful thing to witness and I am so grateful they chose me to document this chapter of their life together.
A huge thanks to my girl Lynsey for helping me out at this wedding and being my right hand woman!
Aimee’s gorgeous bouquet was the wonderful work of Antique Rose in Magnolia.
Dionysus Salon did a wonderful job with Aimee’s hair and makeup.
And a huge thanks to Prestigious Event Rentals, Todd with Hubbell and Hudson who provided the most amazing food ever (seriously, it was fabulous) and Houston String Music for some beautiful ceremony music.
After the wedding we decided to go to a nearby park for some photos of just Aimee and Rob. I’m so happy they were willing to do this because it allowed for some photos of just the two of them on their wedding day. It was raining a bit and even though Aimee and Rob were willing to do anything (even pictures in the rain) I was glad I had thought to throw this umbrella in the back of my car that week).
Lucky for us, the rain stopped completely and we were able to take a few more.
Beautiful photos per usual! I especially love the full body black and white one in the window!!!!! Great job, Kasey!
Beautiful work! Oh, and I have that exact same umbrella! lol
I especially love the picture of her looking out the window in her flowing wedding dress!
