There is something so special about bridal sessions. In the middle of wedding planning, they provide a chance to slow down, soak it all in, and truly enjoy being a bride before the wedding day arrives.
Sandra’s bridal session at Olde Dobbin Station was exactly that—a beautiful evening filled with excitement, anticipation, and so many gorgeous details.
Sandra’s dress was absolutely stunning, with delicate lace details. Sandra looked gorgeous! Olde Dobbin Station provided the perfect backdrop for her session, with its charming architecture, ivy-covered walls, and elegant spaces that offer so much variety for bridal portraits.
One of my favorite parts of Sandra’s session was that she brought along her dog to be included in a few portraits. As someone who knows how important our furry family members are, I always love when couples find ways to incorporate them into their wedding celebrations. Those images always become some of the most meaningful because they capture such a personal part of their story.
We also have to talk about that bouquet. Bride and Bloom created the most beautiful arrangement filled with soft lavender, peach, cream, and coral tones. The color palette Sandra chose was absolutely perfect and added such a romantic, garden-inspired feel to her portraits. The combination of the florals against the elegant backdrop of Olde Dobbin Station created a timeless look that I know will be beautiful for years to come.
Bridal sessions are about more than just beautiful photographs. They give brides an opportunity to see their entire wedding-day look come together, practice wearing their dress, and enjoy a little extra time in front of the camera without the timeline pressures of a wedding day. By the time the wedding arrives, everything feels more relaxed and familiar.
Sandra was an absolute dream to photograph, and I loved getting to capture this exciting season of her life.
If you’re planning a wedding and looking for a Houston wedding photographer, I would love to help tell your story and capture all of the moments that make your day uniquely yours.
